One Kitten or Two?

While single kittens are available for adoption, we encourage our pet buyers to think about the benefits of bringing home two kittens instead. Bengals are energetic, social cats, and for many families, adopting a pair can be easier than one, as they keep each other entertained and provide mutual companionship. Whether a single kitten or a pair is right for you will depend on your lifestyle, such as how much time you spend at home, whether you have other pets, and the level of interaction your kitten will receive. Our goal is to help you find the best match for your home and family!

Companion & Therapy kitten

We do offer single kittens under specific circumstances, such as when they will be companions for other pets or serve as therapy animals. We take the time to discuss your unique needs and the dynamics of your household, whether that includes another cat, a dog, or someone who requires a therapy pet. After our conversation, we carefully assess whether we have a suitable kitten for your situation. If we feel we cannot provide the right match, we will be honest and let you know. In such cases, there may be a suitable kitten in the next litter, and we can keep you informed about future options.

Why Two Kittens Might Be the Purr-fect Choice

Bringing a Bengal kitten into your home is an exciting adventure, but have you considered the incredible benefits of adopting two? While a single Bengal can certainly bring joy, having a pair can enhance your experience in ways you might not have imagined.

  • Companionship: Bengals are known for their playful and energetic nature. Having two Bengals means they can keep each other entertained, especially when you’re busy with work or other commitments, but also when you are away for longer periods of time. Their playful antics can provide endless amusement and reduce the chances of loneliness. Bengals thrive on companionship. Their need for social interaction does not diminish as they mature. When they have each other to bond with, they’re less likely to feel neglected, which can help prevent behavioural issues that may arise from boredom or isolation.
  • Socialization: Bengals are naturally social creatures, and when they have a feline buddy, they can develop healthier social skills. They’ll engage in playful wrestling matches, chase each other around, and even groom one another, all of which fosters a strong bond. This camaraderie not only makes them happier but also helps them grow into well-adjusted adults.
  • Reduced Stress: Having two Bengals can significantly lower stress levels for both them and you. Whether it’s during the initial settling-in period or later on, during a loud thunderstorm or when they encounter something new and unfamiliar, having a sibling nearby offers comfort and reassurance. They can cuddle up together, playfully distract each other, or simply provide companionship in anxious moments. This mutual support fosters a calm atmosphere, making your home a more relaxed space overall. Plus, knowing that your cats are content and secure can bring peace of mind to you as their owner!
  • Endless Entertainment: Let’s face it, Bengals are incredibly entertaining! With two, you’ll be treated to double the fun. Watching them play, interact, and develop their personalities is a joy that’s hard to match. Their playful dynamics can make for delightful moments that will keep you smiling.
  • A Stronger Bond: While you’ll certainly bond with each kitten, having two means they also bond with each other. This deep connection can lead to a loving household where the kittens feel secure and confident. When you see them snuggling together or engaging in playful chases, you’ll realize just how enriching their companionship is.

In conclusion, while a single Bengal can fill your home with love, adopting two can create a vibrant, dynamic, and fulfilling environment for both you and your furry friends. So, why not double the joy? Your heart (and home) will be happier with two playful Bengals by your side!

Katzizi Kitten Gallery

The gallery below showcases some of our previous kittens. Many of them are already displaying the whited countershaded pattern, which most of them retained into adulthood.

These kittens have gone on to become much-loved and adored pets in their new homes, while some stayed with us at Katzizi to become Kings and Queens. Others joined select breeders’ programs abroad to contribute to their breeding lines.
